[/justify][/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]welcome to Haunted, a Hogwarts rp that takes place in London. i know you just want to get to the actual roleplaying, but please take the time to just read (or skim over) these rules before starting. there's not many, don't worry.
one please please respect both the admins and the members of this site, regardless of whether you are a member yourself or just a guest who is stopping by. please don't start fights out of character, i'm sure everyone would like haunted to be a fun and friendly place, not a living hell.
two when you register, you can sign up with any name you like, although upon setting up your profile, please change it to first middle last, all in lowercase. for example: ava jaymes quincy. this just makes things all neat and tidy.
three before you even consider roleplaying, please post your application and wait to be accepted. whoa, wait, before you protest, it's short and easy. relax.
four please pick a play-by that accurately portrays your character's age! if the admins feel like you have not picked an age appropriate play-by, we will ask you kindly to choose someone else. a general rule of thumb is play-bys who are 21 years or younger can typically pass as a student. of course, there are exceptions to this, but it helps narrow things down when looking for a play-by. in simple terms, make sure students and adults look their age.
five here at haunted, we don't believe in a word count. mainly because scoutie is lazy and this is her site. so all we ask is that you try to match the posts of the person you're roleplaying with. that's not too much to ask is it?
six one thing that drives us admins crazy is god modding. please please don't do it. for those of you who aren't quite sure on what it is, it's basically controlling someone else's character. just don't do it, please please please.
seven almost done, sorry about this. please do not stretch the board, either with your signatures or posts. graphics should not be any wider than 500px. scoutie has spent over five days making this site pretty and would kill you if you ruined it now.
eight finally, haunted is rated PG-13 in order to comply with proboard's terms of service.WE DON"T WANT OUR SITE SHUT DOWN DO WE!? x] proboards terms and conditions state that you should be over thirteen to sign up, so you should be able to handle any topics that come up under this rating. if not, don't join, simple. if you ignore this and sign up anyway, don't get offended if you read something you don't like.
