It was a beautiful night the moon was wonderfully clear within view lighting the courtyard beautifully. Eva closes her parchment with a woeful sigh as she unfortunately had no ability to continue to write without lumos or another appropriate charm. It wasn't in her nature to be so stalwart in her homework assignments. She placed her things neatly in her messenger bag and then looks up at the moon taking in the subtle scents of the courtyard. She reaches up with a delicate hand to tuck her hair back behind her ear and unnaturally bright jade green eyes focus on the wonderfully starry night. She smiles as everything was as it should be, orderly, on time, and without disaster. Her family would be proud. She was working on extra-credit writing the details of her goals for the next several years as a witch, and the steps she was going to take to accomplish them. She then stands up gathering her things careful not to leave a single item behind. Once she tucked her quill away in her messenger bag, she slung the accessory over her shoulder. She stood the picturesque student of order, prudence, and perfectly groomed. It was painfully obvious the girl strives to achieve the best to make her family proud. Though her soft smile was enough to deter thoughts of 'stuck up girl'. There was something sweet and innocent about her even though she was one of the older students. 'It's getting late, perhaps I should make sure there are no stragglers from the dining hall.' She thinks debating her options of action.

kol grabbed his things from the library table and shoved them into his bag before standing up. the male then shifted the bag to sling over his shoulder and moved down the isle, as he did he smacked a few first years who were acting up on the back of the head and shook his own. "knock it off." he scolded them before moving on his way again.
once he got out of the library the male hurried down the stairs and toward the courtyard. he wanted to get some fresh air before he had to do his prefect duties. the male made his way to the front door and pushed against the heavy wood to open them. the cool fresh air felt great against his skin as the door opened and a low sigh escaped his lips.
the males let his hazel eyes scan the area looking for any sign of life. curious if he'd be out there alone. but then he spotted a fiery red headed girl and a small grin appeared on his lips. he casually strode over to her a small smirk playing on his lips. "Hello there." he said in almost a purr. "You look like you could use some help with deciding something. . ." he asked as he leaned against one of the posts in the court yard.

Pulled away from her thoughts, bright jade green eyes moved to the boy who stood before her now in the courtyard and her lips curled into a sweet polite smile. "Good evening," she replies in her soft, but sweet voice. "I was just finishing light studies, but I noticed it was rather late." She stops herself before she goes into intricate explanation.
Her eyes looked over the boy curiously taking in his rather charming but rugged appearance. She takes a few steps towards the boy her hand resting on the strap of her handbag, her posture straight and well-groomed, "I'm sorry, where is my manners." She chuckles shaking her head. "I'm Eva." She introduces herself before continuing.
She stops a few steps in front of him and he can see the lack of make up or usual girlish flair worn by other girls. Her uniform was properly put together and all together (though not pristine from a day of being outside). "I know dinner should be finished by now, so I figured I'd see if there were any stragglers left behind." She says not nervous around the boy her thoughts never dwelling on members of the other gender always determined to stay professional even in casual conversation.

the boy shoved his hands into his pockets and nodded at the girl with a small smile tugging at her lips at her greeting and then pulled his left hand from the pocket. he glanced down at the golden watch that was placed on his skin and noded at her suggestion. "Well that it is. Nearly half past nine." he said grinning a bit. "Quite late." he chuckled a bit and then shoved the hand back into his black suede jacket.
he then shifted his weight from one foot to the other and watched the girl his chocolate orbs taking in every movement. he then grinned slightly as her name was given and nodded his head. "Eva. Pretty." he stated simply. "I'm kol." he said another grin greeted his lips as she moved toward him. his eyes scanned her over taking everything about her in before they reached her eyes.
he then looked back at the castle as she spoke again and nodded his head. "Just finished up actually.. . i took a peek in. Only a couple first years scarfing what they can down before lights out." he said shrugging it of. "didn't think it was worth the effort of scolding them" he said looking back at the girl. his grin which rarely left his lips was still tattooed across his face.
(( just be careful there was a tad bit of power playing. i don't know if you meant it or not. so watch that ;D She stops a few steps in front of him and he can see the lack of make up or usual girlish flair worn by other girls. just the bolded part there. ))
