Subject Taught at Hogwarts: Potions
House you would like: Ravenclaw
Reason we should pick you: Robert was a model Ravenclaw in his own time at Hogwarts. Prefect for two years then head Boy, he was the braniac of his year that everyone went to. For certain subjects, that is. Although he never failed a class, he struggled through charms and Transfiguration while acing (in his sleep) Potions, Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures. Upon graduation, he had little desie to go back to teach at Hogwarts, partially because Severus Snape was quite secure in his role as Potions Master. Through events however, he was no longer int hat position.
The year after the end of the Second Wizard War, Horrice Slughorn gave up his Potions position and Robert decided that he'd like to give it a shot. He has been teaching Potions at Hogwarts since then (when he was 27) and after a decade and a half, Professor Flitwick (the then Ravenclaw Head of House) retired. Robert stepped up for the position and has (hopefully) held it sense.
