Kayla had finally entered the great hall. After, being on a boat ride and a train ride she was alittle nervous of where she would get placed into. She knew about the sorting because she is a half blood and her parents would tell her stories about there sorting and how they first met. It was cute really, they actually met at diagon alley. Anyways, Kay was still alittle nervous even though her parents told her that they would be fine with no matter what house she got put into. She gulped alittle when she heard her name being called.
Kayla wasn't sure she heard correctly, but she went shyly up the stage where the sorting hat was placed. She felt all the eyes of everyone on here and felt her cheeks go alittle pink. She then gently sat down on the stole and waited to be sorted. The two houses she wanted to be placed in was either Gryffindor like her dad, or Hufflepuff like her mom was she had heard great stories from both houses.
