waiting in the crowd of young students, jake looked around the room. some of the older students were starting to look bored, he didn't blame them though, it wasn't exactly fun watching a bunch of kids getting sorted into a house.
finally his name was called. jake strolled up to where the hat was and sat down. before it had even touched more than a few hairs on his head, the hat shouted out the name of the house. a small smirk formed on his lips as he stood up and moved over to the table.

a box no bigger than a ring box that has intricate beautiful markings and a combination lock that is opened with the answer to problem written on it's underside.
an average sized off white box made of some type of stone. several holes are punctured into the top and there is a low mewing can be heard from inside. to open it there is a riddle on the bottle of where the key can be found.
a large jet black box with silver edges. it lays flat on a surface with no legs and words are beautifully engraved on its lid. "i open to only one" there is no key hole or lock on this box but it is sealed shut by some sort of magical spell that will only open to the right person.
an average sized box that is dark colored box that sits on four clawed legs. it's body is made of a soft velvet type while it's edges are solid gold. inside a soft ticking noise can be heard. there is a small key hole that will allow it to be opened. Next to it a key sits with a note tied to its opening reads, "do you dare to open? what you may find isn't what you want to seek." on it.
