marie was ushered into the the great hall with her fellow year onces. fear was evident on her face. she game from two muggle parents. she had no clue what was to happen in this room. she had meant a boy on the hogwarts express who had told her that at hat was placed on her head and she was given a house but that was all. she looked around the room and swallowed before staring straight ahead. her eyes found the hat almost instantly and she backed up a bit running into one of her peers. "hey watch it mud blood." the boy hissed and she frowned slightly at the word never hearing it before before scurrying away from him.
she watched as about half of the kids went up before she herself was called up. she swallowed unmoving at first before someone nudged her forward. she slowly took small steps up and then sat down on the stool. her eyes crossing as she watched it being placed on her head. soon a house was announced and she quickly jumped off the stool and moved slowly over to the table into welcoming hugs and claps.

an average sized box that is dark colored box that sits on four clawed legs. it's body is made of a soft velvet type while it's edges are solid gold. inside a soft ticking noise can be heard. there is a small key hole that will allow it to be opened. Next to it a key sits with a note tied to its opening reads, "do you dare to open? what you may find isn't what you want to seek." on it.
